Who is Ed Jones?

Ed first made his mark on the racing circuit at 11, when he won the National UAE karting championship in 2006.

He progressed to the Intersteps Championship in 2011, finishing fourth place in his debut year. From here, he moved up to Formula Renault and Formula 3, and 2013 saw him crowned the youngest European F3 Open Series Champion in history.

His success caught the eye of the legendary Carlin FIA European F3 Team. Ed joined them in 2014, securing five podium finishes and two pole positions before moving over to Carlin’s IndyLight Team in 2015.

The following year, he joined Dale Coyne Racing, finishing the season as the championship winner. Now in his IndyCar debut season, Ed is one of the favourites to claim the Rookie of the Year title.
