Strategy Managers

1. How to create a Strategy Account?

In order to create an Strategy Account:

  • Login to MyFXTM
  • Click the “Open Account” button on the main MyFXTM dashboard, or select ‘My Accounts’, ‘Open New Account’ from the menu on the left hand side.
  • Select ‘Live Trading Account’ and, on the following page, under Account Types select “Strategy Account”

After selecting the “Strategy Account”, you must choose a unique name for your Investment Strategy and choose your preferred performance fee. This fee is a percentage you will receive according to the profits you generate during the Payout Interval. Finally, you must read and accept the terms and conditions for the Strategy Account. Please note that the name of your Strategy Account will be made public on the Ranking Page and Public Monitoring Page on the FXTM website.

2. How to make a deposit to a Strategy Account?

You have two ways of funding your Strategy Account, either by internal or external transfer. There is a wide variety of external payment methods available, which you can compare and contrast in order to choose the one that is best suited for you, or you can transfer funds internally between any of your live trading accounts by submitting an Internal Transfer request from within your personal area in MyFXTM. These transfers are free of charge, however, conversion rates may apply if the accounts are in different currencies.To make a deposit to a Strategy Account

To make a deposit to a Strategy Manager:

1. Internal Transfer from a funded trading account

  • Click the “Deposit” button from the main MyFXTM Dashboard, or select ‘My Money’,  ‘Internal transfers’ from the menu on the left hand side.
  • Select Account from where funds will be deducted.
  • Select the appropriate Strategy Account for Deposit in case there is more than one.
  • Enter the amount of funds to be deposited and press “Confirm”.
  • Enter the PIN received in your email /mobile phone and press “Submit”.

2. External Transfer: Deposit funds from the Bank, with a Credit Card, and with other payment methods.

  • Click the “Deposit” button from the main MyFXTM Dashboard, or select ‘Deposit Funds’ under ‘My Money’ from the menu on the left hand side.
  • Select the deposit method you want to use by clicking the green ‘Deposit’ button.
  • Complete the form and follow the steps ensuring you select the appropriate Strategy Account for Deposit in case there is more than one.
  • You will be redirected to the payment system’s website to confirm the transfer or you will receive payment instructions according to the payment method you selected.

Your funds will be transferred to your Investment Account shortly thereafter and an email confirmation will be sent to your email address.
Please note that in the case that investors are already following this Strategy Manager, a deposit request will only be processed when all open positions in the Strategy Account are closed.

3. How to withdraw funds from my Strategy Account?

In order to make a withdrawal from your Strategy Account, you will need to login to MyFXTM, click on My Accounts found on the left sidebar of the webpage and click ‘Accounts Overview.’ Here, you can select the appropriate Strategy Account for withdrawal (in case there is more than one) and press the “Withdrawal” button (when you drop down the menu next to ‘Deposit’).

There are 2 types of withdrawals:

1. External Transfer:

  • Click on My Money on the left-hand sidebar and then Click on Withdraw Funds
  • Select the Local Payment Method, Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfers or E-Wallets
  • Select the Strategy Account from which you wish to withdraw funds
  • Enter the currency and amount of funds you wish to withdraw.
  • Choose the Recipient and Credit Card or Bank Details and press Confirm.
  • Enter the PIN received either in your email or mobile phone and press ‘Submit’

2. Internal Transfer to existing trading accounts:

  • Click on My Money on the left-hand sidebar and then Click on ‘Internal Transfers’.
  • Select the Strategy Account from which you wish to withdraw funds
  • Enter the amount of funds you wish to withdraw.
  • Choose the appropriate account for the transfer of funds and press ‘Confirm’
  • Enter the PIN received either in your email/ mobile phone and press ‘Submit’

Please note that in the case that investors are already following this Strategy Manager, a withdrawal request will only be processed when all open positions in the Strategy Account are closed.

4. Where can I find the Public Monitoring page for my Strategy Account?

There are 2 ways to see Public Monitoring page for my Strategy Account:

  • Go to Top Ranking Strategy Manager Rating page where you can see a list of all Strategy Manager Accounts. From this page you can search for your Strategy Account. When you click on it you can see Public Monitoring Page with all detailed statistics.
  • Login to MyFXTM and click on the appropriate Strategy Account number found in the middle of the page under ‘My Trading Accounts’.  Then click on the Public Monitoring link found in the top left side of this page, written as ‘Public URL’.
5. What is Public Monitoring and how does it work?

Through the Public Monitoring page, the Strategy Manager has the ability to publish the statistics of his trading performance on the official FXTM website. 

On the Trading Review tab there are detailed statistics and information based on the Strategy Manager’s closed trades. These statistics are updated on a daily basis. 

The Common tab provides charts and statistics on an hourly basis according to a percentage change of the Strategy Manager’s equity. This is a good indication of the Strategy Manager’s current performance.

6. What is the Top Ranking Strategy Managers page and how does it work?

The Top Ranking Strategy Manager page shows Strategy Managers’ key statistics and ranks according to their overall returns (minus the Strategy Manager’s Fee), while taking into consideration the following:

  • The Risk Level: in case two Strategy Managers have the same return, the Strategy Manager who has lower risk will have a higher ranking.
  • Drawdown Percentage: the lower the Drawdown, the higher the ranking.
  • Days Open: the more Days Traded, the higher the ranking.
  • Monthly Return: the last 30 days of activity have less influence on the ranking than previous days/months.
7. How to change the Fee percentage of a Strategy Account?

You must first log in to MyFXTM and under My Trading Accounts click on the appropriate Strategy Account. To change the Fee percentage, click the “Edit” button next to the “Fee” under ‘Account Details’. Then you can adjust accordingly and click “  to proceed.

Please note that the new Fee percentage will be applicable only to new Investment Accounts. Investors whose Investment Accounts were associated with the Strategy Account before the new fee was established, will continue to pay the initial Fee %.

8. How can I see how many Investors, funds and fees are associated with my Strategy Account?

You must first login to MyFXTM and under My Trading Accounts click on the appropriate Strategy Account. From here you can click on “Investors” to see a complete list of all the Investors and the total funds currently invested in your Strategy Account. To see the total fees received, you must click on the “Fees” button. In both cases, you can choose to view the information as a ‘Graph’ or with ‘Details.’
