Jameel Ahmad is the Global Head of Currency Strategy and Market Research at FXTM. Specialising in financial market developments, with a particular emphasis on global currencies, commodities and emerging markets, Jameel is relied on for his insight into the financial markets and is frequently featured in leading media outlets, including the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Sky News, and New York Times. He is also a highly sought broadcast commentator, and can be seen regularly on Al-Jazeera, Bloomberg, CCTV, CNBC and Reuters.
Jameel holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies with Accountancy & Finance from the University of the West of England. He received the prestigious Iacocca scholarship to represent the United Kingdom at a leadership and cultural training program in the United States, before later being selected to act as a delegate for the United Kingdom for the Education Without Borders conference in the United Arab Emirates. More recently, he completed an executive education course in Unconventional Monetary Policy at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
