First make sure you have opened an FXTM Trading account, and downloaded your MetaTrader platform. If you haven’t done so yet, log in or register to do that then come back here to continue.
Once you have your trading account opened and platform downloaded, follow the steps below:
Download the Acuity Expert Advisor on your desktop by clicking on the MetaTrader platform you’re using: As a reminder, these files will not work on your mobile device. MetaTrader 4 MetaTrader 5
Once downloaded, double click on the file and press ‘Install’ Please do not change the file name, otherwise the EA will not be integrated to your MT platform correctly.
Click ‘Finish’ when the installation is complete and open your MetaTrader platform
Expand the Expert Advisor section in MetaTrader (in the left hand navigation column). If you already had your MT platform open when you installed the file from step 3, just hit “Refresh” in the Expert Advisor section.
Double click the Acuity EA you want to launch and use, press “Yes / OK” and enjoy!
Acuity is now integrated with your MT platform, and the Dow Jones Research Terminal, News and Calendar Events are ready to help you explore the markets with confidence!
